Karen Templeton
Karen began her association with Mobile Medical as a
volunteer and then came to work part time at the base
office. Along with raising 2 kids, she speed walks and
paints watercolors. The weirdest thing she’s done since
starting work at MMO is file paperwork in the upstairs
bathroom, also known as the “overflow office”. |

Promotora: Luz Moreno
I was born in Mexicali, B.C. and was raised as a resident of Humboldt County. I went to EHS and graduated in 1996. I opened two businesses; a Restaurant and a Market and I ran them for five years. I realized that my heart was not in my business so I decided to sell them. I always felt that I needed to be part of the community in some way, so I started working on Quality Improvement in Mental Health. I had to visit Mental Health for office work only, but my heart hurts every time I get into the hospital and to not be available to help patients with their problems and issues. I started looking for a place that I can be part of my community and be available to help them with their different problems. I am now a part of Mobile Medical Office with Dr. Wendy and with all the staff. MMO is like family, all working together helping others. |
